Two photos of me. I look the same, don’t you think? (Tee-hee.) But Ragamuffin Me and Today Me are alike in a lot of ways. I’ve always loved to travel. Ragamuffin Me had wanderlust, too. At naptime, I’d climb out of bed and hightail it for the backyard, or, when I was feeling really bold, I’d run around the neighborhood. (My poor parents!) I’ve been a people watcher as far back as I can remember. When I was young, I didn’t know why I was fascinated by people. What I know now is that spying on my world gave me ideas for the stories I tucked away in my head. People watching still inspires characters and scenes and adventures. Best yet, when I became an adult, I stopped being afraid to share my stories. As to my very favorite sport? It’s reading! Everything! Except instructions for techno stuff, which make me dizzy.
